OK!

Well I guess its' time I put something worthwhile here.

My name is Em. I am a mut. Mom's black, dad's mexican. :shrug:

I am about 5'6", naturally black hair (recently died copper), dull brown eyes, and full lips. i love my lips. lol.

I'm often told that I speak to people condescendingly, but I never really intend to. It's been my observation that the people who tell me that often don't have vocabularies that stretch beyond two words. But then, even my mom has told me that one point, so I don't know what to make of it anymore.

I DO speak spanish, but please don't make me. I prefer english.

I'm 17 (shh!) and won't be 18 for another half a year. I'm in no particular rush. I'll get there when I get there (hopefully, lol).

I love to laugh. I love to write. I love to draw. I love to love.

I gots no romance in my life right now, and quite frankly, I wouldn't have it any other way. I've had my fill of testosterone for a while and am so glad to be guiltless when my gaze lingers on any random man for longer than it probably should.

I do wish I had more friends I could talk to about my interests though. Most of my IRL peeps don't like anime, books, art, or even the same TV shows as me. I mean, how long can someone endure such loneliness?

Which reminds me, my favorite poet is E.E. Cummings.
